The room was very clean and nice. Appreciated numerous laptops available without charge. Breakfast buffet was terrific. Elevators woprked well. Perfect for airport access with shuttle. There was a huge shopping mall on the street behind the hotel with many different places to eat, including a supermarket.
Restaurant on site didn't open until 8:30 pm Madrid time. Not good for travelers coming from different time zones or different cultures where eating much earlier would have been desireable. Also, hotel reception didn't have any electrical plug adapators for the type of outlet. I couldn't find one to buy at the mall either. Many budget hotels have several available for their guests who come from different cultures.

The shuttle service is not organized an not enough at all. 45 minutes waiting at the airport without any explanation, then 30 minutes queue at the reception desk, and at the moment of reserving the transfer for the morning "it was already fully booked, but there is a taxi stop opposite to the entrance". The next morning there was surprisingly space for me in the 6h transfer, which departed at 6:25 even if the roads were empty. Plan a taxi or another hotel if you want to catch your flight.

Friendly staff, they'll even wake you up for free if you need it, and you can get your clothes ironed here. the double room comes with a bathtub for a nice soak 🛀.

Overall it was a quite comfortable stay on our business trip. The breakfast was varied and great and the Irish bar was a plus. The location was great for walking around a shopping mall. There was an average restaurant at a short distance from the hotel.

This is a really nice hotel with one of the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen. The shower was huge. There was free internet and free computers on the second floor.
The staff was not friendly and the van was horrible. We had to wait at the airport for an hour before the "free shuttle" came. The only way to access the metro is to take the shuttle to the airport then take the metro. You can never count on the van. It's never on time and often too full, then doesn't show up to get the rest of the people. The morning we left, we waited till 20 minutes past the time it was supposed to be there, then considering that there were way too many people to all fit on it and it was so late, we paid 20 euros to take a cab to the airport. Don't stay here if you are planning to sightsee in Madrid.

I would classify this hotel as "Airport convenience." It by no means should be an option for someone visiting Madrid on vacation, but for someone with a late flight into Madrid or early/midday flight out of the Bajas airport. I wish this hotel was at the airport and in the city. I would stay at both. We only paid 65 Euro and it felt like we were at the Gansevoort Hotel in New York City. It was very chic and my boyfriend and I felt like a million bucks just staying there. A true treat to end our vacation in Spain.
The shuttle bus to the airport is inefficient. They require you to make a reservation for a set time to the airport, but the shuttles themselves are going by no clock/reservation system. The driver didn't ensure the people getting on the shuttle actually had a reservation and/or needed to get the airport at their required time. It was first come, first served system, basically... We had a brief moment of panic not knowing when we would actually be getting to the airport.

We booked at the 3* Feria, but got the rooms at 4* Axor Baraja, which I found so great.Best design I ever met in a 3 or 4 * Hotel. super clean!
maybe that in the restaurant the menu is not so variated, breakfast a little bit expensive for 10 euros/person
